  • Lillian Deptuch – Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal

We are pleased to announce that one of our own parishioners, our sister in Christ, Lillian Deptuch, has been selected to receive the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (Manitoba), to mark the 70th anniversary of Her Late Majesty’s accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada.

Here is part of the letter that Lillian received from our Premier, the Honourable Heather Stefanson:

For 70 years, The Late Queen exemplified the true meaning of public service. Her Platinum Jubilee is a welcome occasion to highlight those, who, like Her Late Majesty, dedicated themselves to the service of family, community and country.

As a Province, we are proud to take this opportunity to recognize the outstanding service of Manitobans who have done much to build and enhance our Province. You are among this distinguished group.

I thank you for your leadership, your dedicated service to your peers, to your community, to Manitoba and to Canada. The contributions you have made to our Province are highly commendable and deserve our praise and admiration. May you wear your Medal with justified pride in your own accomplishments and in commemoration of this significant and unique milestone for our Late Queen.

    2022 Drive-Thru Fall Supper a Success

Look at those smiles! After many weeks of cooking, and a full afternoon of our production line, these awesome volunteers delivered 600 meals for our Drive-Thru Fall Supper in two hours. We thank all those ordered meals from us, and we thank all our volunteers (there are many more than those shown here), those who donated for this fundraiser, and especially to our excellent cooks. May the Lord bless!
